David is also a Board Member of the Organization of Independent Artists (OIA), a collective of multimedia artists showcasing work throughout the year.

Amy Pivak: Curator
Amy is a photographer and gallerist who is now trying her hand at curating. Although she originally studied physics and international relations, the art world is an ever-absorbing presence that has become increasingly difficult to ignore. Amy is thankful to everyone at Salon Ciel for giving her the chance to be part of such a vibrant and inspiring community of artists.
Yajaira Arias: Administrator
Being with the Salon series since its inception, Yajaira, brings her photographic and culinary skills to each salon. She actively pursues her art career in abstract painting.
Samantha Deeks: Curator/ Biographer
Samantha moved to New York from Ohio about a year ago after graduating from Bowling Green State University. She has been working to embellish her writing skills with Salon Ciel as a Biographer and additionally, she has been Curating shows. In her free time, Samantha pursues her own art working as a black and white photographer. Some of her favorite artists include Cindy Sherman, Nan Goldin, Larry Clark, and Jun Kaneko.
Robert Gerhardt: Curator of Photography
Rob received his B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology and Art History from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. in 1999. And in 2007 he received his M.F.A. in Photography from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in Boston, MA. Rob’s own work has been in numerous solo and group exhibitions in both the United States and Europe, and is in a number of private collections. He has lived and worked in New York City since 1999.
